“My name is Lorraine Hitt and I am the designer and creator behind Elsiem Jewellery. My former design career disciplines including Graphic, 2D/3D Cad, Furniture and Architectural Interior are not only prevalent in my jewellery designs but have provided me with invaluable skills for developing my jewellery brand, all inspired by my love of simple architectural visual forms, incorporating functionality and practicality. 

Some of my designs are handcrafted with brass and silver, sometimes combining the two. My latest collection has been created using CAD software and the 3D printing process, using a lightweight and highly durable material called Selective Laser Sintering Nylon, which is polished then dyed for colour application.

Some of these modern, edgy pieces are adorned with textured brass elements, combining the cutting-edge technology and traditional metalwork techniques. I sell my work online, at fairs and currently have a collection at Kettles Yard in Cambridge, The Royal Exchange Theatre Shop in Manchester and The Bowery in Leeds.” — LORRAINE
