I am a self-taught fibre artist living in Cambridge. The main techniques I use are needle felting and wet felting, which allow me to transform wool fibre into 3D shapes or textiles. My inspiration mostly comes from nature: wild animals, plants and fungi. Much attention is put into the design and detail of my creations: sculptures, ornaments, brooches. I always try to give my creations their own character and form. I started my journey with felting in December 2013 and I am still enjoying the freedom of exploring and learning. I was a Wraptious 2017 Competition Runner-up and my designs are available on their products. I also run felting workshops in Cambridge – find out details of my classes on Facebook and Craft Courses. — ŻENIA
