Featured Members – November 2018: Jemima Willcox, Beadstorm Designs, Pink Coat Club & Clare Kenward Flowers

Welcome back to our featured members series for November 2018! Here at The Trove Cambridge we are preparing for next month’s festivities and encouraging our followers to think about shopping local and independent this Christmas! Read on to discover brand photgrapher Jemima Willcox, jewellery designer-makers Beadstorm Designs, craft-themed accessory designer Pink Coat Club and florist Clare Kenward Flowers.

Jemima Willcox is a portrait photographer based in Cambridge, UK. She specialises in professional portraits and personal brand photography for female business owners and entrepreneurs. Jemima says, “when I photograph a person, my ultimate goal is to bring the best parts of their personality to the surface.” We were honoured to welcome Jemima Willcox Photography as our first community partner earlier this year (get in touch to find out about the exclusive offers included in our membership pack)!

Beadstorm Designs is run by local creatives Roxane and Sarah – two great friends who came together in 2010 to launch their jewellery business. Their work is a collaboration of ideas and styles inspired by their shared interests in wildlife and the great outdoors. Together they create fine silver jewellery featuring owls, foxes, hares and other British Wildlife. They also incorporate freshwater pearls, semi-precious stones and sterling silver into their pieces.

Joy Margot from St Ives, Cambridgeshire launched her online brand Pink Coat Club in 2017 and hit over 2000 sales on Etsy in her first year of trading! Joy says she is “driven by a passion to deliver unique, colourful gifts that celebrate creativity and fun”. She designs and sells a range of sewing and ‘me made’ themed enamel pins, necklaces, key chains, vinyl stickers and patches – and has just launched her first Christmas decorations too!

Clare Kenward is the floral designer behind Clare Kenward Flowers. She has lived in Cambridge, UK for over 15 years and loves the city’s amazing cultural diversity. From her local studio she enjoys making things that are “just a little bit different from the norm” and her work is influenced by a love of texture, colour and contemporary European style. Clare specialises in botanical jewellery and she also creates eco-friendly funeral creations which contain no plastic or floral foam.
